Python Configuration

You must configure your device's Python settings and enable the auto-start functionality of a Python file. To do so:

1. Click on Applications > Python from the left-hand menu, you should see a screen similar to the following:



2. Within the Manage Files section 4 files should be displayed. In order to configure your device for use with MAP, you must enable the dpdsrv.py file to auto-run on the device. Click the Auto-start Settings menu to display its options.
   
   
3. Configure the following Auto-start Settings:
   1. Select the Enable checkbox.
   2. Select Reboot from the Action On Exit drop-down menu. This will force the ConnectPort X5 R device to reboot upon exit of the Python configuration page and apply all newly configured settings.
   3. Type dpdsrv.py into the Auto-start Command Line field. This will execute the dpdsrv.py Python file on the device.
      
      
4. When finished, click the Apply button.
